Dalbeattie forest - Dalbeattie - Dumfries and Galloway

Mum went to her friends house that has Dixie and Xiva and she brought out another dog,one we hadn't met before, his name is Dave and he came with us in the car to the forest.
Me and Flint have been to this forest a few times but never offlead, well today she let us both off,and I scarpered straight away,I was running around in the forest and they couldn't see me,I could hear them and stayed fairly close,I caught up with them by the lake and Dave was swimming and then Flint also went in for a swim,we have never seen him swim before.
I went off again and followed lots of smells, and when I had eventually finished I met up with everyone near the car park.

Southerness beach - Dumfries and Galloway

What a great day,the sun was shining and it was lovely and hot but with a nice breeze.
So mum took us to the beach, now we are normally not bothered about beaches as there are no real good smells there, but we went a different way today and there were some smells there, they weren't deer though but it was still good anyway.
Then when we were nearly back at the car we met a Labrador that wanted to play so Craven was really happy,me,I joined in a bit,but they were playing a bit rough for me,so I kept leaving them to it.

Barnkirk point - Annan - Dumfries and Galloway

A beautiful day today so mum took us to one of our favourite spots, not our top favourite as it doesn't have any deer there.!!
But mum likes to take us there as she can let us off the lead safely.
There were lots of cars in the car park so mum said there were probably going to be lots of dogs and we had to behave around them, and only go and say hello if they were allowed to.
But there were only 2 dogs there and as we had met them before and the owners were not very friendly we stayed away from them.

Carronbridge -River Nith walk - Dumfries and Galloway

What a wet day, first of all we stopped at Auldgirth as mum had seen people walking along the river yesterday when we were coming home,so we got all togged up,mum in full waterproofs and set off, sadly the walk was only about a quarter of a mile long there and back,so back in the car we went as mum had another new walk up her sleeves.
So we went to Carronbridge,it was still pouring down, but at least we got a longer walk,it was a new walk for us and although it was quite nice it wasn't secure enough to let us off as it was too near a busy road.
And not only that but we could smell deer nearby,we couldn't see them but we knew they were there close by.

Penpont to Kier Mill - Dumfries and Galloway

We went back to that place where Craven got injured last time, but he was ok this time.
It was a lovely day mostly sunshine with a few clouds.
Flint got snapped at by an elderly Pointer dog and poor Flint hadn't even gone near the dog,but apart from that it was great,we were running round for hours.

Barnkirk point - Annan - Dumfries and Galloway

After being on lead all last week when we were on our holidays mum took us to the place near Annan where we are allowed off.
And we were both very well behaved considering.
It was a beautiful day,if a little windy, and we had a great time running around.

Loch Lomond Camping 6th - 11th May 2012

This was Flint's first camping trip. This is the tent we stayed in.

We walked both ways along the West Highland way.South and North for a few miles.

We went to Balloch Castle Country park.

We climbed up some small hills, and sometimes we got wet.

We walked along a lot of beaches.

Most of all,we had a great time.

Castle wood - Caerlaverock castle - Dumfries and Galloway

We hadn't been on this walk for a few months, the last time we were there the trees were bare and now they are getting their leaves back on,and there were lots of different flowers that were sprouting up.
We had our new harnesses on today,Flint's fitted perfectly and didn't move, mine moved about a bit,it didn't bother me,but mum kept fiddling with the straps to stop it moving,in the end she said I must have a stupid shaped body,as no harnesses fit me.!

Barnkirk point - Annan and Powfoot - Dumfries and Galloway

Craven went to the vets this morning to see if his stitches and wound were ok,and the vet was very happy he is healing well.
So as we had not been off the lead in a week, even longer for Craven mum took us to the place near Annan that we really like,we both went a bit mad and did lots of zoomies running around.
On the way home we stopped off at the beach at Powfoot,Craven still wanted to do zoomies, but he was on his longline and mum had to stop him before someone, probably mum got hurt.
